Clinical Supervision

Clinical supervision is a cornerstone of professional growth and development in the field of therapy. It serves as a collaborative and supportive process that empowers therapists to continuously enhance their skills and effectiveness in providing client care. Through regular meetings with a qualified and experienced supervisor, therapists engage in reflective discussions about their practice, explore complex cases, and receive invaluable feedback and guidance. Clinical supervision fosters a safe and open environment where therapists can critically evaluate their clinical decisions, explore personal biases, and gain new perspectives to further augment their therapeutic interventions. By promoting self-awareness, ethical practice, and ongoing learning, clinical supervision plays a pivotal role in ensuring that therapists deliver the highest standard of care to their clients, ultimately improving client outcomes and nurturing excellence within the therapeutic community.

Gerald has a passion for education and provision of clinical supervision and has previously been a clinical preceptor in the public mental health sector. He has completed training in Clinical Supervision through the University of Melbourne. To refer yourself please send us an email on admin@potofgoldtherapy.com.au and we will be in touch with you
